The Regional Media Corpus has been expanded by more than 12 million words; its total size now exceeds 82 million words.
Three Russian regions whose publications had not previously been represented in the corpus have been added: Leningrad Oblast, Magadan Oblast, and the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia.
The corpus came to include more data for the regions that had previously been underrepresented: Bryansk, Kursk, Rostov, and Tambov oblasts. In total, the update includes 24 publications. These comprise traditional district, city, and regional newspapers, as well as information portals, online publications, and materials from official government websites.
The collection of regional media included in this update was prepared by the team of Voronezh State University.
